Karaage Chicken Crispy Sushi Waffle

Elevate your waffle game with these Karaage Chicken Crispy Sushi Waffles! Fun, crispy, quick and full of flavor!



  • 1 pack Rangitikei Karaage Chicken
  • 3 cups sushi rice, cooked
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • ¼ cup sriracha mayo
  • 1 spring onion, finely sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup shredded nori


  1. Press a quarter of the cooked sushi rice into a lightly greased waffle maker. Cook on a high heat for about 8 minutes until golden and crispy. Repeat with remaining rice so that you have 4 crispy rice waffles.
  2. Cook the Rangitikei Karaage Chicken in the oven or air fryer as per packet instructions.
  3. Top the crispy rice waffles with the karaage chicken pieces and diced avocado. Drizzle with sriracha mayo and sprinkle over the sesame seeds, spring onion & shredded nori. Serve with pickled ginger on the side.
